It's Monty Python meets Get Smart meets Dr. Seuss meets Pork.
Don't wait, adjust your gait, take the bait, change your fate, as good times inflate!

I listened to MentalRadio. A lot of it. It’s crazy. And if all that’s going on in your head, I don’t know how you can walk.
That’s Flash Gordon, L. Ron Hubbard, Captain marvel, Buckaroo Banzai, and everything else. The production. Everything.
I really liked it.
- Craig Ferguson
This is the very best radio that has ever been done. The very best. Ever. A weird bonus thing is that it actually seems a bit uplifting. Michelangelo of radio is you.
Amazing. Please continue.
- Steven Segal
I gladly return to to your Mental Radio episodes just as I return to favorite tracks on albums that I very much enjoy. Can't listen to these sagas just once and say "Okay I've heard that". These are audios to return to again and again like one would for excellent music. Sounds hi fallutin to say, but you are really doing a sophisticated word jazz. It requires me attend to each word (and sound effect) as I would attend to successive notes of jazz. If I don't focus intently I get slapped by the next round of contradictions. Mental Radio should be taught in school like they teach Dante's Inferno. And the crazy thing is you are actually doing this to make people happier. That is outrageous! And as a bonus the damn thing is actually enlightening. Wisdom from the asylum. If it were taken seriously the series could well be considered a therapy and a profound pilgrim's progress. Anyhow I hope your are reaping rewards for your efforts. Please keep it up. (Wish I coulda been in the room when you imagined playing this material for John Cage. Ha Ha.)

I had no idea what I was in for... I LOVE Mental Radio. Hand to god, I was grinning ear to ear several times.
I threw it on while starting a puzzle and had to stop to come send you this message. I can't wait to share it with more friends and listen to the next episode. Thank you for putting together something that acknowledges what we're all going through, but focuses on being positive. It's hard to even call it a podcast, because as Shadoe mentions,
it's more of mental theater.
Feels a bit like a metaphysical noir radio play to me. Best!

The truth is that virtually NOTHING of this nature has kept my interest for more than a few minutes in years.
I find so much to be tedious... BUT, I'm thoroughly engrossed in this! The writing and production are incredible,
and it moves so quickly that there's no chance for boredom. Congrats...
and THANKS! Lot's to be proud of here, Shadoe!

I think I’ve found my new Starwars.” “It’s really changing his life. I’m meditating more. And when I find my mind coming up with negative thoughts, I get busy. It’s amazing. Just from listening! And it’s really funny! I can’t wait for each new chapter! Thank you!”
- Johnny Osburn
As someone who places a high value on creativity, this one turns up to eleven. Beautifully envisioned, produced, and more fun than most of us should be allowed. One episode, and I’m hooked.

I cannot describe or tell you or impart to you how much I was Overwhelmed & Thrilled By Your Mental Radio Podcast...
That kind of Audio Density doesn't even exist in $200M Movies!!! How the Fuck do you do THAT??? T A L E N T ! ! !
Right... That's Your Gift...
Here's what I'm making a drooling attempt at saying...
Fuck Howard Stern... YOU ARE THE KING OF ALL MEDIA!!!
:)
- David Worth - Director
Having spent my life doing pretty complex audio stuff, I spent this evening being overwhelmed by the unrelenting creativity, insane attention to detail and fascinating textures that go into every episode of Mental Radio.
How ironic that I watched an early episode of Twilight Zone last night where Dennis Hopper becomes an American Hitler being manipulated by the real Hitler. Written by Rod himself. As poignant today as it was then.
And that’s one of the greatest compliments anyone could bestow on Mental Radio. Ridiculously timeless. Whether it’s Morgan Freeman’s soliloquy on soup or Meditation Mall or the Lord of the Dreads, this will be relevant long after we have left this earth.
- Michael R. Lee, Ph.D.
OMG Chapter 15 game show was one of the funniest things I've ever heard....!!
Fantastic.
- Robert “Porterhouse Bob” Johnson
I went to mental radio for episode 10, ‘the blues’…my head is still spinning…absolutely brilliant! yep,’theater of the mind’ on jet fuel mind altering stuff…I could rave on, but c’mon, where does “feeling bad about not feeling good about yourself” come from? ‘the blues are always here, it’s just how you choose to play them”…and, of course, you have mental radio jingles that are outstanding… then comes Morgan Freeman! ‘competitive humility’?! Bam. seriously!
- LES GARLAND
I listened to your podcast and I have to say it AGAIN!!!! YOU ARE A GENIUS!!!! Your mind is scary how deeply funny you are.
Sometimes it’s so quick you’re already laughing about something and then laugh about both thoughts. I’m tired from laughing grinning, smiling but not of Loving You. Thank You, God Bless all over You.
- Leslie Smith
As it began, I started to die laughing. I was eating yogurt and had to be careful not to choke (note don't listen to Mental radio while dining). Then I seemingly tranced out and forgot I was in this dimension (Mission Accomplished). Once again the unequaled talent of Shadoe glorified the Universe beyond known imagination and belief. Methinks you trance out in your Crown Chakra when you do these things like when you design your art. I'm like, "How the hell does he come up with this stuff, fast as lightning, and make perfect sense, and yet make us think of 35 things all at once," Bravo Shadoe, Bravo. From the first time I met you at KMET when you seemed to channel way back when you have evolved into this essence that is beyond description and definition. (Should you wish to read this to anyone for any know reason, Permission granted). Best wishes with yet another sensational projects.
- Farley Malorrus
I sat quietly and listened to the new installment of MentalRadio three times in a row and that was just the first sitting. It was of course brilliant, positive, energetic, honest, uplifting, empowering, magical... all the great things I associate with you and your talent.
- Robert Holtz
You're an extraordinary talent. Tremendously far ahead in talent, vision, and ability to execute ideas, of probably any radio person I've met (and I worked closely with Stern). You may also have the highest IQ of any radio guy I've met, which is shown in lots of the writing, and the references you choose/make.
- The production itself was fantastic. The original music funny/strong.
- I liked the writing: "1 swimmer" in the pool, etc.
- The double (or even triple meaning), of the title "Mental Radio" works well.
- In lots of ways the show is a nod to classic radio shows of the 30's-40's, but an updated version.
Overall, if Gene Wilder, in character as Willy Wonka, had done a podcast...This may have been what it sounded like.
Very unique.
- David Race
No false flattery here: this is genius! I haven’t heard anything close to this level of writing, production, sound, and creativity in the last 20 years. The only thing I can compare it to in terms of pacing, production and writing is the old Lampoon Radio hour or “Laugh In” records, but there’s much more contextual depth and messaging here against the landscape of the sound and comedy. THIS is how great radio is supposed to sound. There’s not a single second of time wasted.
Seriously, I’m blown away. I can’t wait to listen to more episodes!
- Brian Baker
It's pretty much unbelievable - I take that back: it's completely unbelievable.
I really just have no idea in the world how you do it. But I know no one else could.
- Tim Hallinan
Congratulations and thanks so much for Mental Radio.

- Alexander Weiser
I cannot tell you how much I ENJOY each and every Episode of Mental Radio!!!
There is so much Mirth & Inspiration in every square centimeter that I have trouble
NOT Smiling the whole time!!! "A Ladle of Tepid Goat Gruel"
"The Adventures of Guy Good” Your outstanding Celebrity Menu of Goodies to Eat!!!
Your extraordinary 90 second Meditation!!! & Especially: DO THE WORK!!!
Thanks to you and your amazing TEAM 1000 fold!!!
To paraphrase Mr. Eastwood... Once again you've...
"Gone Ahead And Made My Day!!!"
- David Worth
What a cool project and program. Reminds me of the old radio shows of a day gone by. In the age of podcasts that don't stand out, yours does!
- Bruce Silverman
“Simply an audio form rarely used like this in decades that propels one in to a level of sonic bliss not available in…”
- JIM SELLERS
As someone who places a high value on creativity, this one turns up to eleven. Beautifully envisioned, produced, and more fun than most of us should be allowed.
One episode, and I’m hooked.
I’m still a fan of the Shadoe.
Thanks.

Mental Radio is teaching people to laugh again. How is it possible that they forgot such a gift in the first place? Did anyone besides me notice that the word “silly” had disappeared from all dictionaries, Wikipedia blurbs and even most importantly: behavior? Now: (Trumpet sound here) Due to Mental Radio: the concept of silliness is back!
With a vengeance!
Pond scum and Fiji Water are virtually indistinguishable! Drinking or frolicking in giant baths of either, yield the same result: Euphoria! Nirvana! Immortality!
Get a grip people! Listen to Mental Radio, and you will have to hold your sides because they ache so much. But that’s a GOOD thing! You will realize just how funny, and SILLY wasting perfectly good marble and rebar and concrete and bronze was in the erecting of statues of Confederate Civil War Generals!
But wait… there’s more….
Oh shit. I’m getting a call………..
- Steve Blinder
I’ve begun my immersion in Mental Radio, and it’s insane.
Congratulations.
It’s absolute audio genius.
They are great. “End of the World” is great.
The writing has an epic Nordic legend air to it.
And the show’s graphics are stupendous.
Carry on.
- Terry MacDonald

1,000% absolutely RIDONCULOUS. No one else on planet earth could ever do this! Don’t change a nanosecond. Magnificent production values, textures and pace. Gorgeous visuals. It’s hard to imagine many listeners who deserve something this phenomenal. LOVE IT!!! The new one is beyond amazing!

When I listen to Mental Radio I can literally feel the characters re-arranging the furniture inside my cerebral cortex... and it looks so much better.

Episode 17 "Vanity". I felt compelled to shoot you a quick email.
Thoroughly enjoyed and listened with headphones and ability to close eyes and really experience!
I especially liked the "pep fortified optimism" and subliminal good vibes the show gave.
Mental Radio is a great tool for helping people in a different way to get the benefits of laughter and a dose of chill. For what it's worth- I felt better after listening and had a moment to just stop.
- Ann Marie Snyder
This is either some form of therapy or else the writers have been skipping their appointments and prescriptions
