On the day after Dr. Freeze’s birthday, the strangeness continues. Dr. Freeze arrived at the studio door almost naked with little or no knowledge of how he arrived at the abandoned Masonic Temple, in a state of confusion and extreme hunger. Shadoe, grateful we weren't being televised, or watched by the Black Helicopters, threw a blanket over him and shoved a mic in his face and we carried on. Shadoe also saved the rest of the Mentalradio staff from having to pour bleach in our eyes. Once the show was on the metaphorical and imaginary road, we welcomed clairvoyant and author Jean Kelford all the way from the midlands in England. Jean has been able to see and communicate with spirits ever since she was a child and Shadoe and Dr. Freeze asked her about Spirit Guides and how to call them up, since everyone has one.
In our next hour, Shadoe, tired of the lack of timing, missed cues, weird neck pains, and odd sounds coming from the green room realized we must accept the confusion and so we hitherto referred to the day as “Embrace the Chaos Day” and that made things much better. The boys greeted our next guest, author and journalist Michael Tymn, who wrote “The Articulate Dead” and other tomes and spoke all the way from Oahu on what happens after we die. It turns out there is measurable evidence that something happens after we kick the bucket and that we have nothing to fear. Cool!
In our last hour, having embraced the chaos, we had a diagnostic discussion of Larry the Gorilla’s visits and sitar playing and whether he uses protection and all that, then we had another episode of the Full-Throttle Aristotle Brownboy Love, a whole segment of bad writing, some bad lawyer jokes and more Zombie Movies you may have missed. I think it was Werner Von Braun who first said, take your dual-thrusted LN2 rocket engine and have a party and so we did today as there were parties all over Iceland celebrating Dr. Freeze’s birthday. Now we don’t know how many herrings were put in the salmon loaf but we do know how many we found in Dr. Freeze’s pants so maybe we’ll have a contest about that sometime in the near future. Shadoe opened the show with more reasons why we love zombies, which is why October is Zombie Month. We talked a bit about Laughter Yoga and Dr. Freeze, back from a weird massage involving a bolt of Dakar Yellow Velour and a porcupine and he was recovered enough to join in with Jim Harold of The Paranormal Podcast fame. They talked about Rodeo Sex and the Wheezer and a ghost who served tea. There was the little girl in the attic and the man in the elevator, which seems somewhat normal until you get into the details. Have a listen and you’ll hear for yourself.
In our next hour Dr. Freeze was presented with gifts as we continued to celebrate his birthday. He received an inflatable meatloaf and handerwear, which are fruit-of-the-looms for your palms. Then the guys were joined by Dr. Eric Pearl from Bruges, Belgium. Dr. Pearl was a chiropractor who found there was more to healing than what you learn in school and that the separation of spirituality from science was something we need to forget and forge forward embracing both together. Dr. Freeze then received another gift – let’s just say it involves Area 51 and an inflatable hottie and leave it at that. Listen if you want to know more. We do paint a pretty good picture.
In our final hour, Daphne Van Horne was too sick to appear, but we did receive a taped interlude from her gorilla bodyguard, Lawrence, playing a sitar. Day 2 of Zombie month and Shadoe and Dr. Freeze opened the show with reasons why we don’t have to worry about a Zombie Apocalypse. I mean really, wouldn’t their eyeballs fill up with maggots and then they couldn’t see? Tune in and learn more. Remember: you will always learn more if you listen to MentalRadio. Then the guys welcomed Seth Chernoff, the author of the 3-volume book “The Manual For Living”, a series of books about happiness. In the next hour, Shadoe and Dr. Freeze regaled us with some of the best bad writing in the history of writer’s cramp. Then it was time for a visit from a MentalRadio favorite, physicist and author of “Ark of a Million Years”, Dr. Brooks Agnew. They had a conversation about A State of Vibration, about Life after Life, faster that light neutrinos and a connection between the Nazis search for a lost continent at the center of the earth and Roswell. Whew, our heads were spinning, which is also not a reason to be afraid of a zombie apocalypse. After much prodding, Dr Agnew revealed to us who holds the reins on this planet. This brings us our first show of the new season, we think, we’re not quite sure. Shadoe and Dr. Freeze entered the studio bobbing and weaving and trying not to take it personally and waited anxiously for the arrival of Ancient Alien expert and author Philip Coppens. Mr. Coppens talked about his work with the famous author Erich Von Daniken and their writings on Atlantis and Greek Mythology. Then he revealed something that NASA knows and is not telling us about DNA. It’s a blockbuster!
In our next hour, we were joined by the founder of The Occult Network, Curtis Davis. Mr. Davis’s mission is to bring events and news that the mainstream media will not cover like whether Hip-Hop music is controlled by the Illuminati and how the world’s monetary power is centralized in London , in a flat in Mayfair. I always thought Mayfair was rather nice myself, thanks for asking.
Next hour it was time for “Translations for the Urban Impaired" with Daphne Van Horne, back on the road at the Berkeley Texting Festival where she was surrounded by 25,000 people who would not look anyone else in the eye and just typed furiously, sending texts back and forth under the watchful shadow of a gigantic “TextMan” built entirely of wooden smartphones. Not to be missed. This was followed by a brilliant “Mental Radio Minute” about rodeo sex with the Lilting Larynx or Ladd, Jim that is and then Brownboy Love, the Full-Throttle Aristotle and finally News on Parade. Shadoe waltzed into the studio today and immediately tore open a fortune cookie. He wanted to not only get a good fortune for himself, but for all Humanity. He got one in spades. Want to share in it? Have a listen. Dr. Freeze foxtrotted into the studio and refused to read a story about Aboriginal circumcision. Go figure! Then the guys were joined live in the studio by auteur Paul Davids, who is not only a successful author, but also a filmmaker and musician. They talked about Roswell and UFOS. Dr. Freeze was especially interested in the possibility of tunnels leading from the Roswell crash site to the Atlantic Ocean. Tunnels filled with high speed trains! There was some question as to whether the secret empire under Hollywood leads to Roswell and beyond. The discussion then turned to what could be proven and there is more evidence than you might think.
In our 3rd hour we had another visit from none other than the beautiful Corsage Monroe, live from the ladies room at the Grauman’s Chinese theater with a movie review and the balls to tell it like it is. Then Shadoe played a clip from Saturday’s visit with Daphne Van Horne and more trouble with guacamole-eating Lawrence. This was followed by a visit from Zubi the Fortune Fairie who had to burn multiple homilies before finding one that made us all feel blessed. Shadoe and Dr. Freeze are back from Chicago and talked about all the strange and wonderful goings on in the Windy City and all the signs and displays of magical serendipity and great juxtapositions of names and places. It was almost as if the city itself was telling them that ‘Help is on the way!’ Then the guys were joined by author John Schuster from an airport phone booth in Florida to talk about our core purpose and using past experience to help figure out what is right for each individual.
In our next hour the boys were joined by Meg Whitman for a quick round of All-Star Pits, then Author Jason Martell invaded us to talk about the elaborate structures on Mars and the ancient Sumerian Civilization in 4000 B.C. pre-dating most known religions including the Egyptians. Evidently the Sumerians were invaded by an ancient civilization from Planet X, which comes around every 3600 years, which is why we can’t see it now. But it’s coming back. The big question is, will they remember us or has it been so long that they’ve forgotten their own creations.
In our final hour we were joined by Daphne Van Horne and Translations for the Uban Impaired. Luckily she left Lawrence the Gorilla in the Green Room, munching on guacamole and hummus with carrots, but as usual, Larry couldn’t keep his hands off Dr. Freeze. Don’t ask. A cleaning crew was summoned. We immediately segued to Reason to Celebrate and the Summer Redneck Games in East Dublin Georgia, which featured something called “Armpit Serenade”. Then we had a brand new MentalRadio Minute with Jim Ladd, dung diving, bad writing, bad similes and bad metaphors, followed by another episode of Brownboy Love and finally News on Parade. Shadoe and Dr. Freeze kicked off our continuing UFO week-end with a dose of really really bad writing. Is it healthy to admit that Reggie and I have very few problems when it comes to bad writing? Anyway, after the break, the guys were joined by Frank Feschino, Jr., who as a child saw crop circles burned in a neighbor’s property. This inciting incident, damage to a local cow pasture, began his lifelong research into UFOs and other extra-terrestrial phenomena. We dug deeper and turned the conversation to the great Flatwood Monster sightings of 1952. In fact, today was the 59th anniversary of those sightings!
In our next segment, what I like to call the mosh-pit of talk radio, we spent a little time describing some of the more sexual demons in history. Then it was ready for a visit from author and underground cartoonist Jay Kinney. Jay’s background was in publishing, having done not only “The Whole Earth Catalog”, what some call the internet in print, but also the current publisher of “Gnossis”. Jay brought his interest in the Freemasons to give us a candid look at the society that has been shrouded in so much mystery. Did you know that giving someone “The Third Degree” came from the Masons?
In our third hour we had another visit from Corsage Monroe from the ladies room of the Grauman’s Chinese Theater, followed by a replay of Daphne Van Horne’s visit from Saturday and more with Lawrence Gorilla and his obsession with Dr. Freeze’s cargo pants. Then more Brownboy Love, the Mental Radio Minute with the lilting larynx of Ladd, Jim that is, and finally a wonderful visit from Zubi the Fortune Fairie after she got back from “twinkling”. What a day, what a show, whatta you!
Mental Radio - Show #40
Lightning cobwebbed across the Hollyweird sky and Dr. Freeze was trapped in a taxi driven by a crazed Korean with a small face, a limited grasp of location and conversation, and no good reason to get him to work on time. Shadoe kicked the show off with Dr. Freeze on the phone from the bumping backseat of the taxi. They spoke of how a dream of pigs and poop can mean something is on its way to you if you only believe. We interpreted this to be good fortune, with an acceptable level of smelliness. Both men fixated on how Koreans believe that a small face is great beauty. Once Dr. Freeze hit the studio doors, we were joined by Micah Hanks and spoke about the Malaysian Grease Devils, the Hollow Earth, and the Russian Time Machine.
After the hour break we were then joined by journalist Leslie Kean, who was immediately welcomed and initiated into the MentalRadio family. Usually this means we mistakenly insult the guest then beg forgiveness, if any of you out there are keeping score. At least we didn’t make her rub the butt. Anyway, with Ms Kean we explored the delicate balance between real and imagined UFOology.
The boys then welcomed Daphne Van Horne, who took the studio by storm, literally, and of course, was accompanied by her gorilla bodyguard, Lawrence, who somehow found Dr. Freeze attractive, and being a take-no-prisoners primate, went for the gusto at the good Doctor's expense. I am still haunted by Dr. Freeze’s screams. We immediately went to a brand new Mental Radio Minute with the inimitable Jim Ladd, followed by a visit by Brownboy Love, some more reasons to celebrate, and finally a wild News on Parade. We had lightning in the bottle today, folks! Listen well and listen often.

Mentalradio kicked off with Shadoe and Dr. Freeze celebrating the anniversary of the founding of the City of Los Angeles. And to think 44 monks started it all. Then the guys had some points to ponder and a discussion about Lawrence the Gorilla's burrito-fueled gas from the day before. Our crack team of engineers had an isolation mic on the beast and we were able to hear each grunt and snort. Then Shadoe and Dr. Freeze were joined by Lloyd Pye, author of a few books that focus on the Starchild Skull found in a cave in Mexico in the 30s; a skull with characteristics not of this world. Pye then told us all about how he thinks Mankind is some galactic experiment and that we are the slave products of some advanced civilization that inhabited the earth millions of years ago. He also mentioned the Little Blue Men who were shaped like fire plugs.
In our next hour we were joined by world famous dream interpreter Cynthia Richmond who told us many interesting things including her “canbana boy” dreams and the boys countered with their own “dead air” dreams. Cynthia spoke of her dream source and everyone discovered the deep meanings that dreams contain. For instance I have a dream where I’m eating my giant green pillow and when I wake up my tree is missing.
The jam-packed third hour started with a replay of Daphne Van Horne and Lawrence the Gorilla and his burrito-indulged lunch. Then we had another visit from Corsage Monroe, live from the Ladies Room at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater. She spoke more in detail about the reincarnation of Buster Keaton as a Beverly Hills proctologist named Dr. Gold, then, just when she was going to tell us about the messages left in the tunnels below Hollywood by fluorescent leaches, there was a knock on the stall door - the line went dead. Zubi flew in from her home base to bring us another fortune for humanity, Jim Ladd gave us a Mental Radio Minute, Brownboy Love gave us a lesson in courage, and the boys gave us News on Parade.

Dr. Freeze and Shadoe started this week with a blast of music and some great stories from around the world. What a gorgeous day in the abandoned Masonic Temple in Hollywood. Right out of the gate the boys welcomed Peter Canova to the show, all the way from New England. Peter is the award-winning author of “Pope Annalisa” as well as an expert in the Gnostics and other ancient traditions. They all talked about clairvoyance and angels and God and humanity and how it all ties in with quantum physics. Mind-bending radio at its best!
In the middle hour Shadoe and Dr. Freeze talked about some of the insane things you can buy on the internet and some of the hard-core lengths some people will go to in the name of Science. Then we were joined by cryptozoologist Eric Altman from the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society and talked about how the movie “The Legend of Boggy Creek” changed his life. Altman’s society is full of regular folk who meet and get into the great outdoors and, of course, look for Bigfoot. He talked about “The Attack of the Hairy Mountain Devils” that took place in 1924 and just like that --- another hour whizzed by.
After the break, the guys were joined in the studio by Daphne Van Horne and her gorilla formerly known as Larry, now Lawrence. If Lawrence Fishburne can do it, so can Larry, uh, Lawrence. Daphne taught us about Moronstrocities and the Moronosphere and then Lawrence dropped a gas bomb on the entire crew. Get the shovels ready at the next break! Shadoe and Dr. Freeze kicked off our Stan Freberg Week-end with a plain talk about bulletproof skin and the heartbreak of… or was that the heartburn of another Bad Karma Burger. Then the guys were joined by former monk and child actor Craig Marshall who talked about visualizing the perfect future and positive thinking. Good intentions are not enough. With what little time we had left, we revisited Daphne Van Horne and Larry, had a new Mentalradio Minute with the Gyrating epiglottis of Jim Ladd, and a flash report from the 3rd stall of the Ladies Room at Grauman’s Chinese Theater with our own Corsage Monroe. Zubi the Fortune Fairie fluttered in on sugar-coated gossamer wings and left us with a fantastic fortune for us to go forth into the upcoming week with confidence and sincerity. The Dog Days are upon us and Mentalradio is there to help you work up an appetite for life. Traffic was so bad in Hollyweird that Dr. Freeze’s taxi driver got lost. This happens when no one knows how to get to the studio. Dr. Freeze was blindfolded but fortunately, the taxi driver was not. He was just blind. Shadoe plowed ahead and read the Burnt Karma Burger in the Restaurant of Life Award winner and Dr. Freeze arrived during the applause. They were both joined by the forbidden archaeologist himself, Michael Cremo. The proposition that Man has been on the planet for millions of years, is part of Michael Cremo’s theory of Devolution. He says the evidence is there in the museums of the world, but society and organized religion finds it difficult get beyond their own dogma.
In the next hour we kicked it right off with author Marie D. Jones, one of the most prolific authors ever to join Shadoe and Dr. Freeze on Mentalradio. She spoke about the evolving soul and that growth occurs when you are pushed out of your comfort zone. The differences of the Will of God versus the Will of Man, and that there is a personal destiny as well as a cumulative destiny. It is all in her book, “Destiny vs Choice”.
Then Daphne Van Horne dropped by the studio fresh from her tour of India with a lesson in words. She brought along her bodyguard, Larry, an African gorilla, who freaked out at the loud noises and wreaked havoc. In order to calm the audience we went to a new Mentalradio Minute with Jim Ladd about the significance of Space Cadets. What? After that we had another chaotic visit with Brownboy Love and finally got to hear the grand piano of doom. We capped the whole thing off with News on Parade. This is an episode not to be missed!

Happy Sunday! Shadoe and Dr. Freeze ripped this show wide open with a discussion of birds and a few shots at some chickens. Then the guys were joined by Dr. Daniel Kelly, author of “Yuck”, a book about disgust, the subject of which, Dr. Freeze has much first-hand knowledge. We all shared a bunch of revulsion and then we sequed into some bad writing and some interesting stories from around the globe.
In our next hour we were joined by Dr. Nick Begich, live from the wilds of Alaska. Nick is the author of the incredible book, “Angels Don’t Play This HAARP; Advances in Tesla Technology” and we dug right in in a lively discussion of the environment, climate, and the potential of manipulation of the weather by using electromagnetic waves. HAAPR is a government program where the heating of the ionosphere could be used as a weapon! Reaching in and triggering an energy release in the Earth may be within our grasp. The good news is, we have it within ourselves to make this planet a heaven on Earth.
Corsage Monroe kicked off the 3rd hour with a call from Stall Number 3 at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in downtown Hollywood. She talked about the Men in Black who were dogging her trail and managed to give us a movie review of the new Anne Hathaway feature. Three Flushes! She spilled some Hollywood beans then was rudely interrupted by a lot of knocking and flushing and creepy music. You want funny? We got funny. Shadoe and Dr. Freeze kicked it off by talking about the emails we get from all those far-flung countries like France and Australia and South America. Actually Australia and South America are continents, pass it on. They talked about some of the new sci-fi technology that is being used by militaries around the world. Then after the break they were joined by Dr. Raymond Moody, author of “Life after Life” and his research into the near-death experience. This interview is not to be missed.
In the next hour the boys went after bad writing again and let’s just say, there’s a monkey with a red butt that resembles... Well, we’ll leave it up to you to listen. After this they welcomed our second guest, author Lamont Wood who told the guys about paintings from the Renaissance that included technology from modern times. For instance, there’s a painting of the Madonna and Child where the child is holding a toy helicopter. Too true to believe, too true to be true, you decide.
In the third hour we had another live remote from Daphne Van Horne, this time from the Indian city of New Delhi for her latest installment of “Translations for the Urban Impaired”. This is the day where we opened up freezers across America and around the world to cool off the planet and solve Global Warming. Then we were joined by Stewart Swerdlow, the great grand-nephew of the first Premier of the Soviet Union who was taken into service by the U.S. Government as a child for the Montauk Project. Why? Because it was a Black Ops project and they used children of the military. Who? The Illuminati. Swerdlow spoke in detail about the underground base built by George Washington on Long Island where German U-Boats were seen unnaccosted during World War II. Swerdlow is not a psychic, he has just been recalibrated.
After Mr. Swerdlow we had a lot of fun with bad writing and were then joined by former Canadian Defense Minister, the Honorable Paul Hellyer and we had a lively discussion about the ET Cover-up and how it is time it be revealed. This is the first day of the Mayan calendar depending on which Mayan you talk to. Shadoe and Dr. Freeze kicked off the show with the reading of some bad writing, then we hooked up with Eric Herm, author of “Son of a Farmer”, and talked about some of the issues confronting family farms and how to protect ourselves as the industry turns more corporate. They also spoke about genetically manufactured seeds and products and the trend of people growing their own foods.
The boys shifted gears and talked about the recent developments at the bottom of the ocean where a possible alien spaceship was found near what may be another location for the lost continent of Atlantis. Then Shadoe and Dr. Freeze were joined by Dr. Joseph Marra, who spoke about his work in urgent care, which is where he learned about the underground bases. Then all three of them took calls from the audience.
In the final hour, our roving reporter Daphne Van Horne checked in from Bangalore, India, from the “Off the Hinges” Urban Lingo and Grafitti Festival. Then we had a brand new Mentalradio Minute from the velvet-voiced radio giant Jim Ladd who told us all about the Mouth Breathers. We had another episode with Brownboy Love, the Full-Throttle Aristotle who taught us how to stay on track, just before he was run over by a train. Shadoe and Dr. Freeze are joined for the entire hour by Himalayan Master Yogiraj Siddhanath, a living Kriya Master. Listen carefully to him, especially the places where he says nothing. In our next segments of the show we were joined by paranormal researchers Loyd Auerbach and Annette Martin and we talked about Haunted San Francisco and communicating with ghosts and the who what why where when and how of all things ghosts.

Fresh from their visit to New York, the boys read bad literature to each other. Then we connected with best-selling author John Shirley, known as the Lou Reed of Cyberbunk, who talked with the guys about Judgment Day for progressives, accelerated consciousness, his books, and his vision of the future. Good news for all of us – everything he writes has a light at the end of the tunnel.
In the next hour boys did Dread Busters, things you really don’t have to worry about. Then physicist, Pleiadian abductee and crystal-squeezer David Sereda joined us from Berkeley to talk about the dangers of radiation, the promise of anti-gravity, and many other subjects above our pay grade. I personally believe we all deserve just enough anti-gravity to make it look like we lost 20 pounds on the scale. David Sereda laughed to himself at this joke then talked about energy crystals and his childhood abduction and who really shot down the Columbia Space Shuttle.
In our final hour, Daphne Van Horne, our reporter-at-large, still on vacation in India, took us to Calcutta and a parade saluting graffiti and wordplay as all the participants threw Scrabble tiles and thousands in the streets saluted the slang word “Minger”. Mentalradio brought us all the chill of confirmation today and Shadoe and Dr. Freeze celebrated the last week of Zen and Zombie Month by visiting more Zombie movie reviews. Then we went to a new segment called “The Heidi Report” which covered a famous gorilla shoplifter, all expertly translated for our listeners into Brooklynese. After this madness, we were graced by a visit from spiritual teacher Gini Gentry, author of the bestselling book, “Dreaming Down Heaven” and we talked about Toltec Teachings.
After the break we were joined by our second guest in the studio, Dr. Dream herself, Kelly Sullivan Walden, author of the official dreamer’s dictionary, “I Had the Strangest Dream Last Night, the Dreamer’s Dictionary For the 21st Century”. The boys talked about what all those crazy dreams mean. For instance, I have this recurring dream where I eat my pillow and when I wake up, my giant marshmallow is missing. After interpreting some stuff about flying and breathing under-water, the boys and Kelly went for a walk around the grounds and Kelly got to rub the shiny spot.
Our final hour was packed to the radio rafters with a new Mental Radio Minute featuring the tall man with the big voice, Jim Ladd – a little bit of learning about marrying a troll and the true meaning of “skank”, then a visit with Brownboy Love, who talked about the “yeah-buts” and whether Rupert was an Aborigine. We continued our Zen and Zombie week month or even year with lightning shooting out of Shadoe’s fingertips and rotting flesh sounding oddly attractive. Then we segued to some lively clips with Buzz and Buddy. We were then joined by Stephen Bassett from the Paradigm Research Group who spoke with us about the Governmental cover-up of Extra Terrestrial Contact, and World Disclosure Day, a day when the Truth Embargo will finally be lifted.
In our next hour we spun this right around to Brian Dunning, host and producer of the wildly successful “Skeptoid Podcast”. Sacred Geometry and Crop Circles? Dunning makes the case that just because you can’t figure out why something is, doesn’t mean you can make the leap to alien intelligence as the cause. When we asked him if he was an optimist, he said that optimists can only be disappointed, but pessimists can be pleasantly surprised.
Our final hour was jam-packed with the Full-Throttle Aristotle, Brownboy Love, another sterling Mental Radio Minute with the Voice himself, Jim Ladd, News on Parade, and a visit from the bowers of the hills above Griffith Park by Lil Zubi who fluttered in on gossamer wings to read our fortunes and guess what? So much show, so little time! Mind expanding radio. We continued our Zen and Zombie month with more reviews of zombie movies from around the world. Then the guys were joined by punk rock pioneer Jack Grisham who talked about life, the past and future, and his new book “An American Demon”. Grisham, a hypnotherapist explained that no matter what anyone says, you can’t make someone rob a bank under hypnosis unless they really want to. Then Shadoe, Dr. Freeze, and Jack took a walk through the Rick Dees Estate and the guys let Jack touch the statue of Dees for good luck.
In our next hour, with absolutely no oily residue on either of them, Shadoe and Dr. Freeze spoke with Philippo Franchini all the way from Northern Italy. Philippo is a leading expert in Nada Yoga, which is yoga with music and explained music’s calming effects on the body and to prove it, he played his incredible music live. When we woke up, Carmageddon was over and Dees was pounding on the door and it was Monday morning. Hey, I made a funny.
In our final hour, we had another live remote from our Underground Empire reporter, Corsage Monroe, live from the lady’s room at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Corsage told us more about Fatty Arbuckle before an alarm blasted through the echoing, flushy calm and we were cut off. Instead of freaking out, we were very calm thanks to the Nada Yoga from the previous hour, so we entertained more reasons to celebrate including a new rock-paper-scissors championship. Then Brownboy Love was hit by a car, All-Star Pitz starring Clarence Thomas, and more kooky quips with Buzz and Buddy, and finally a special live visit from the Last DJ himself, Jim Ladd, who helped us with News On Parade. The curse of radical optimism, that is what Mentalradio is all about.

Carmageddon Day 1 and we are on the air live with another Zombie and Zen summer. Shadoe, proud as punch, read a message from the Federation of Light, not exactly sanctioning us, but not exactly not sanctioning us or probing us ruthlessly either. They did mention that Earth is indeed as we suspected, surrounded by ships and the Illuminati are on the verge of being vanquished. Then we had quirky quips with Buzz and Buddy and finally we were graced with author Synthia Andrews who spoke with the guys about energy balancing and her new book, “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to 2010”.
In our next hour we did a short report on Strange Hostels around the world and learned that you can live in a capsule in Japan. Great, with the right person. Or sanctioned species. The guys were then joined by Regina Meredith from the Conscious Media Network who shared her knowledge of remote viewing, which is very handy if you want to find out what color of underwear someone is wearing. She also taught us what was the meat part of the brain.
In our last hour, the boys gave us more reasons to celebrate including a backwards run in London. Then Shadoe talked about improving time with a 70-minute hour and then we had another odiferous episode of All-Star Pitz. Brownboy Love jumped in with a plain talk about attitude; we had a great Mental Radio Minute from the vocal verisimilitudes of Jim Ladd. Then, when the show was over, they did the usual thanks to almost every single one of the many people who worked tirelessly to ensure the stars weren't just talking into a dead mike or streaming to the men's room at Warner Bros. Sigh.

For the first time since moving the show to Hollywood, Shadoe and Dr. Freeze went for stroll around the grounds of the Rick Dees compound where they discovered a massive bronze statue of Rick. A naked statue. And a shiny place that has been rubbed by visitors for good luck. Back in the studio, the boys were visited by healer and enlightened being, Immanuel Tijiong, all the way from Brazil.
In the next hour Shadoe and Dr. Freeze spoke with “Black-Eyed Children”, UFO expert, and author Barry Napier. Shadoe wanted to know if anyone had ever been astrally probed and none of us were even sure if ‘astrally’ was a real word and we are sure if we could have seen his face, Barry was puzzled as well. Anyway, they talked about publishing houses and famous stars who have been visited by the real Men in Black.
In our third hour of time-released mirth we went to another live remote by Corsage Monroe, still lurking in the ladies room at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater. She gossiped about Snooki and the tunnels under the Hollywood Sign but when she mentioned Fatty Arbuckle she was mysteriously cut off. We were momentarily distracted by this, but then the boys played a clip by David Icke talking about our reptilian brains and we all totally forgot about her. Then we had “The Finest Fortune Cookie” with Lil Zubi, “All-Star Pitz” with Dan Ackroyd, another Mental Radio Minute with the dashing and oftentimes ravishing Jim Ladd, Brownboy Love in Bombay, and finally News On Parade. This show brought us a whole bunch of interesting facts about Today in History and also a couple new Zombie Movie Reviews, continuing our relentless coverage of Zombie Month. After the break we got together with Nick Redfern, author of “The Real Men in Black” and talked about the MiB strategy in today’s society. We listened to clips by David Icke (not icky, ike) on the Reptillian Brain. Be very afraid.
In the 2nd hour the guys talked with Bryan DeFlores, who was awakened and activated by the Galactic Federation in 1996 while driving an 18-wheeler. Bryan DeFlores is an artist on 63 different planets and told us that when the Energy enters your body, you will grow, and lose an incredible amount of weight. Good-bye lap-band!
After Bryan left us for intergalactic climes unknown, we had another round of All-Star Pitz, a visit from Daphne Van Horne live from the Trump Dubai Tower. Then we learned how to survive a zombie attack: stay away from the mall or if desperate, eat the zombie. What a show we have for you today. It was the 2nd day of our Zen and Zombie Week-end and we were thinking, why not make it Zen and Zombie Month? Our first guest was psychic Riz Mirza who spoke of his childhood in New York City and how he came to discover he had a gift. To prove it, he told Shadoe he was thinking of "I Think We're Alone Now" by Tiffany. It was chilling.
In our next hour of time-released mirth we had another installment of “This Day in History” and introduced the world to the “Laugh that makes you laugh”. Tune in next week for more. We were joined by James Gilliland from the eCETI Ranch and the boys spoke to him about UFOs and the Hollow Earth, about the Light Door in Mount Adams and the well-endowed female Bigfoot James happened upon in the woods near his ranch. Here’s something you probably don’t know: it is illegal to have contact with aliens from another world!
In our final hour we were visited by Corsage Monroe who was again risking life and limb to report on the Hidden Empire that is Hollywood, this time from the Ladies' Room at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. She was about to reveal something terrifyingly bold when there was a knock on the door of her stall. To cover up our fear that something bad may have happened to her, we immediately cut to an episode of All-Star Pitz with Dr. Freeze doing the sniffing; this was followed by the one and only Jim Ladd with another Mental Radio Minute, at least one good reason to celebrate with your bed, and finally Shadoe sent out a ripple that resonated throughout the universe and changed the lives of everyone who experienced it for the better forever. Dr. Freeze was home sick, we welcomed radio legend and "Too Hip" expert Frazier Smith. Our first hour kicked-off with 'This Day in History'. Then we talked about Zombie Week-end and even presented Zombie movie reviews! Our special guest in our first hour was Gregory Sams, author of “Sun of God” and inventor of the "Veggie Burger." Sams believes the sun is a conscious being and that the stars and galaxies are part of a larger community of consciousness.
In the next hour we had another round of “All-Star Pitz” with Frazier Smith doing the sniffing. Next Shadoe and the Fraze talked tech with Eli Milchman from the world-famous blog, “Cult of Mac”. Milchman gave us the run-down on the cloud, 3D TV, and the future of computing. After all that tech, we immediately switched bases and all of us celebrated Zen Day.
In our final hour we hooked up with our roving investigator Daphne Van Horne with another episode of “Translations for the Urban Impaired", this time scooping the world from a Rave at Electric Barf, and for the first time in global radio history, we learned about “Rave Goo,” "Rave Gravy," and getting "Mafungalated." In our first hour we astral-projected across the pond to the UK for an interview with Lucy Wyatt, author of “Approaching Chaos”, who feels that the Bronze Age civilizations were not at all primitive and backward, that gold has levitational powers and that Pharaohs were really Shamen.

Mental Radio began the "Hollywood Era" with its first broadcast from sunny Southern California. After being picked up at the "Park and Lock," Shadoe and Dr. Freeze were blindfolded and taken to a former Masonic Temple owned by Rick Dees, hidden on 10 acres somewhere in the bowels of Hollywood. After a few moments of describing eunuchs, castration and foot binding, they were joined by Robert and Paul Falco, who came with the mysterious Van Tassel tapes from the 1950s, with George "channeling" with the voice of an alien from Venus named Loe. George created the "Integratron," a building built in the Southern California desert in the 50's, described as a domed time travel and longevity device. The blueprint came from these same aliens and it was created to rejuvenate human cells for life extension.
In the second hour, Shadoe, Dr. Freeze spoke to Daphne Van Horne from the beach on Perky Nipple Bay, where a DUDDLES with bad SURFER SCROTE...went psycho when he found out his girl was doing a SURFER GOOD, HITLER BAD. Next up was an interview with Natalie Wolchover, journalist with Space.com who talked about stories ranging from JFK and the CIA, to the face of Ghandi on Mars. We celebrated "Pwint Day" like they do in New Zealand, played "The Mental Radio Minute" with Jim Ladd, and another interview with "Brown Boy Love." Sunday"s show marked the end of an era as we leave Prague – Hollywood is the future. Shadoe and Dr. Freeze waved goodbye to the local town folk and now look forward to everything from the catacombs below the Hollywood sign, to stars being buried beneath footprints at Grauman"s Chinese Theater. Then they spoke about happiness and its many forms., and were joined in a great conversation with Dr. Jan Bondeson, author of a new book – "Amazing Canines" – which includes how Nazi"s tried to teach dogs to talk and about dogs that could kill 100 rats in seven minutes. From there, Shadoe and Dr. Freeze took one last look at the Dees Cavern – over 10,000 feet deep and just as frightening. Then it was time for Jim Ladd and another "Mentalradio Minute" – we are getting closer to the truth.

Mental Radio began its last weekend in Prague with Shadoe and Dr. Freeze taking a walk to the 35-foot statue of Rick Dees in the village square. The next week they move to to "Dees Worldwide West" - somewhere in the bowels of Hollywood. Once back in the studio, the guys welcomed Ed Lovick, author of "Radarman" and an integral part of the "Skunkworks", where the United States Military created some of its greatest spy planes. Ed also spoke of his experience in "Area 51" where he stated he had NEVER seen a UFO. Then, Daphne Van Horne reported from the streets of New York as she detailed the battle in front of the "Terminology Building."
In the second hour, we talked with Space enthusiast John Shepherd who beams music out to the stars when he isn"t working on solving the energy crisis. Then in a preview of next week, Rob and Paul Falco told of their interest in the "Integretron" built by the late George Van Tassel. We had our first episode with Jim Ladd and the "Mentalradio Minute," and a visit from Vuja Day in New Orleans – There was a celebration of Nettle-Eating – Some "Embarassing Moments" – and Brownboy Love from Inquisition Arena in Madrid, plus NEWS ON PARADE.

Sunday's show began with a visit from Dr. Ted Loder from UFO group, The Disclosure Project. Shadoe, Dr. Freeze and Kyle had a vigorous Q & A with the doctor about what he has seen and what he knows. We fully expect to get a call from "THOSE IN CHARGE" who want us drinking fossil fuels on into the apocalypse. They have a vested interest in keeping all 60 separate extra-terrestrial species away from prying eyes. Then Shadoe described some of the 10 funniest ways to die.
Hour two was Loyd Auerbach, Paranormal Investigator, who helped shine a light on those things that go bump in the night – or come knocking at Kyle's grandmother's door. We all found out the difference between an Apparition and a Poltergeist – one is caused by stress. Misconceptions were cast to the wind. And items flew around the room. Soon after, the crew was playing Brain Cramps and we had another episode of ALL-STAR-PITZ! The celebration of the week was "Worm Wooing in Great Britain," but after "Brown Boy Love" appeared at the bullfights in Inquisition Arena in Madrid, there was a moment with Vuja De who reminded us that everything had already been OK. The first weekend in June began with trying to help our first guest, Grant Cameron of Presidentialufo.com crystallize his thoughts. While we still hope he can find a lab his develop super 8 film, we were intrigued by the sheer numbers of government bureaucrats who refused to confirm extra-terrestrials! But they apparently have 64 reasons! We were then joined once again by Daphne Van Horne, who spoke of her Dutch roots and the money New York refuses to give up! With the help of her explanation of new age communication skills, we hope she makes progress.
In the second hour, Shadoe, Dr. Freeze and Kyle Cease were joined by Jim Moroney of Canada who spoke of alien abduction and his personal pain caused by being pulled through the front window of his car. While we hoped for more information on "The Tall Whites", we at last were comforted by the fact that the aliens were enamored of the Honeymoon Suite. Shadoe gave us another Reason To Celebrate, Kyle and Dr. Freeze discussed 72 virgins and their uses, and "Brown Boy Love" was interviewed at Hong Kong Stadium, home of the Peking Ducks. With Dr. Freeze back in the studio and Kyle still in the Czech Republic, MENTALRADIO welcomed three guests with amazing stories. After Shadoe and the Doctor took a trip through The Epiphany Chamber, they welcomed an extraordinary guest, Lisa Renee - trained by Inter-dimensional beings to be an Energetic Healer. We found out about "Spontaneous Kundalini" and "Energy Expanding." She spoke about Spirit Technology, Timeline Repair, and how there are Guardians for humanity during this Ascension Cycle.
